1. Self-management is the modus of applying and using one's
self characteristics in a righteous and responsible way. It is making
commitments to oneself to smartly organize and properly handle the situations
in and around oneself. Self-management includes qualities such as
self-awareness, decision making, pro solving efficient time management,
planning, handling stressful situations, etc.
2. Yoga emphasizes proper breathing and mind, body and
spirit connections. Yoga poses like sukhasana, uttanasana, savasana, etc. help
to calm mind and body. It focuses on the importance of being present in the
moment and finding sense of peace.
3. Meditation is one of the most popular ways to relieve
stress. It is a technique to get centered when we are carried away by emotional
stress. Meditation involves sitting in a relaxed position and focusing our mind
on one thought for five to twenty minutes without any distraction.
